Roads
Interstate highways I-385, I-26, and I-85 are all within minutes from downtown Laurens.
Rail Rail
service to Laurens is provided by CSX Transportation. In addition,
RailAmerica now operates the former Carolina Piedmont division of South
Carolina Central Railroad between Laurens and Greenville.

Air South
Carolina’s largest airport, the Greenville/Spartanburg
International Airport is less than 45 minutes from Laurens. GSP serves
the Upstate with 10 passenger airlines and 90 flights daily to 13
non-stop destinations. GSP is located 12 miles northeast of the city of
Greenville, and has connections to a variety of cities.

Charlotte’s Douglas Airport is an hour and fifty-seven
minute’s drive and Columbia’s Metropolitan Airport
is about an hour’s drive from Laurens.

Laurens County services include a general aviation airport to service
the county’s air traffic. The Laurens County Airport, which
was renovated in 1992, features a 3,900 foot runway for private and
corporate aircraft use. Other services offered by the airport are
hanger rentals, maintenance, and fuel service.

Sea Port The
Port of Charleston, operated by the SC Ports Authority, is only three
hours from Laurens, and is easily accessible via I-26. The Port of
Charleston is the fifth largest facility of its kind in the United
States and is the second-largest container port on the East Coast.
